ultra-thin nano-coating less than 1 Micron = 0.001 mm wis applied to winding wire and core, before the string is wound.
Alloy specially modified for the coating with high copper content
Gauges: .011/0.28mm, .016/0.41mm, .024w/0.61mm, .038w/0.97mm
Warmer, fuller, earthier tone
Please note: specially designed for OVATION Mandolins but the string length is sufficient for traditional mandolins with separate tailpiece, only the ball-end has to be removed!
